My love of shirting began while working in the Fashion Office at Holt Renfrew in Canada. At menswear sample sales, I would buy beautifully made designer shirts that were far too oversized for me. Rather than alter them, I moved the buttons, creating a wrapped silhouette that preserved the ease of a men’s shirt while following the shape of my body.

That simple idea became the foundation of CISSA.
